Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure compliance with infection control procedures
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical incidents
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning programs
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
