Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based care plans for emergency patients
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during trauma activations and critical care scenarios
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR systems
- Provide patient education on discharge instructions and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants during shift operations
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
