Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while ensuring strict HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to positive patient outcomes
- Mentor new staff and participate in professional development activities
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license with unrestricted privileges
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
- ACLS/BLS certification required; PALS or TNCC certification preferred
- Expertise in clinical assessment, medication administration, and emergency response
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to cultural competence and serving diverse patient populations
