Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor and interpret patient data, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Administer medications and therapies with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and recovery
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
