Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical departments
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Mentor new nursing staff and contribute to clinical training programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for specialty roles
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
