Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with Epic EHR system
