Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care transitions
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BSN degree strongly preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in telemetry, ICU, or med-surg settings
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
