Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide clear patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient responses to interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations, including code blue alerts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
