Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and empathetic CNA to assist our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Provide safe and comfortable mobility assistance, transferring patients between bed and wheelchair.
- Assist with feeding patients and ensuring they maintain proper nutrition and hydration.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team, patients, and families regarding patient status and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Maryland.
- State license to practice as a CNA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
