Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic wound care and change dressings as directed by the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls.
- Communicate patient status changes and concerns to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding schedules.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active and in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Arrhythmia Certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a high level of empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
