Your Role
You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. We are looking for RNs who are passionate about making a difference in the Austin community.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergency situations.
- Document patient care services, including assessments, interventions, responses to treatment, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the job duties.
