Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to treatment, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient care and infection control.
