About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as the patient advocate, coordinating care plans and ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic treatment to our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans based on clinical needs and goals.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and therapists to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to code blue and emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
