Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition to ensure safety and well-being.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number is required.
