Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, promptly reporting any changes or complications to the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care plans in accordance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution (Associate's, Bachelor's, or Diploma).
