Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Health: Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
- Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about treatment plans, disease management, and preventive care strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Tennessee.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, sound clinical decisions.
