Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, intervening appropriately to prevent complications.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively, initiating life-saving measures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates may be considered).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
