Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-volume clinical setting.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care, symptoms, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as necessary.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
