Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs and reporting changes to supervisors.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed personnel.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Texas CNA License or RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
