Overview
We are currently accepting applications for our Medical/Surgical unit. If you are passionate about patient advocacy and possess a strong clinical background, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing treatment plans.
- Assess patient conditions, identify potential health risks, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop appropriate care strategies.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, disease management, and health promotion.
- Document patient records accurately and in a timely manner using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR software.
