Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency and critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and care team for treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to codes and emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year ER or ICU experience preferred
- Strong EHR proficiency (EPIC experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-stress environment
