Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying any changes that require intervention.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and responses to treatment in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
