Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies with precision
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Document patient assessments and interventions using electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on complex medical conditions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
