Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional direct patient care in ICU/Stepdown units using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform complex nursing interventions
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer mentorship programs
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years of critical care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
