Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients across diverse age groups
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions using Epic EHR system
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and state nursing board regulations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
