Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurate documentation of medical histories and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, JCAHO).
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates with exceptional credentials will be considered).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
