Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
