Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of practice
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using electronic health records (EHR)
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient-centered focus
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
