Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/CCU settings with critical assessment skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and interpret telemetry/vital signs with rapid intervention capability
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on condition management protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to JCAHO and NY state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Valid NY State RN license (required)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years critical care experience (ICU/CCU)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong assessment and emergency response skills
- Electronic medical record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
