Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term facilities
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Document all patient interactions and care interventions in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in relevant specialty (ER, ICU, MedSurg, etc.)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
