Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to any changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
