Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in diverse healthcare settings including ER, ICU, and surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Ensure compliance with NY State nursing regulations and hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
Qualifications
- Active NY State RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- EMR proficiency (EPIC/Meditech preferred)
