Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, and telemetry units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Provide patient education and support to families during critical care episodes
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
