Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
