Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care during overnight shifts
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient events
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants while ensuring compliance with hospital protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced overnight environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
