Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute and/or non-acute settings.
- Monitor patient health and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions to physicians and charge nurses.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IVs according to strict hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a positive attitude.
