Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care, ER, or ICU settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
- Supervise LVNs/CNAs when assigned to shift leadership
Qualifications
- Active RN license in PA or GA (or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts with flexible availability
- Proficient in EHR documentation systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Nursing degree from accredited program (ADN or BSN)
