Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Supervise LVNs and nursing assistants to maintain quality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure patient safety through proper infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care or hospital experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
