As a valued member of our team, you will work in top-tier medical facilities across the Portland metro area, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care centers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient history, care plans, and clinical progress accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Oregon.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
