Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IVs in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
