Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions and respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Provide patient education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain detailed medical records
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
