Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and clinical interventions tailored to individual needs and recovery goals.
- Monitor patient health and progress, promptly responding to any changes in condition to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and necessary lifestyle modifications.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility policies and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use electronic health records (EHR) effectively.
