Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition, including emergency situations.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
