Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency settings with rapid assessment and intervention
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2+ years of emergency nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Experience with Epic EMR system beneficial
