Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients with varying levels of acuity.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and injury.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care services using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oregon State CNA license required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) must be maintained.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a night shift team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
