Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based care plans for emergency patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure rapid patient throughput
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain patient safety protocols during high-stress situations
- Provide education to patients and families on discharge plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (IL RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
