Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to emergency situations
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Spanish bilingualism highly desirable
