Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients across all acuity levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions in trauma and critical care scenarios
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental performance reviews
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license (or compact license with endorsement eligibility)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in trauma care and emergency procedures
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
