Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies to maintain a safe environment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team setting.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as necessary, adhering to body mechanics guidelines.
