Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs and patient conditions to identify changes and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).
- Licensure: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
